Becca Arguello works for Back2Back Ministries– a global ministry that is passionate about caring for the orphan and vulnerable child. Becca is married to Rodolfo Arguello who also works for Back2Back. After hearing the call and serving in Monterrey, they moved to help launch Back2Back's Mazatlán, Mexico site in 2012. After serving 6.5 years in Mazatlán, they felt the Lord calling them to be a voice for the families and vulnerable children in Cancún, Mexico. Becca serves as Site Staff in Cancun, Mexico. Together they have 2 boys who are full of life and keep them busy on the daily.

In high school, Becca went on a service trip to Monterrey, Mexico and she fell in love with the people and the work that Back2Back was doing there.
When she was too old to go on the trips, she reached out and volunteered to help facilitate the trip on the ground. When that time was coming to end, she introduced herself to Matt and Julie Cooper and volunteered to be their nanny for the upcoming summer…. Over and over again, Becca has taken bold, fearless steps to go after her dreams.
Stepping out in Faith
She explains, “If something is a passion of yours, then it’s a matter of stepping out in faith. Listen to the stirrings of the Holy Spirit and don’t be afraid to put yourself out on a limb when you feel His promptings.”
Living and working with Back2Back showed Becca what a healthy community can look like. After 5 summers of nannying, Becca continued to feel the pull on her heart, and after college she moved permanently to Monterrey, Mexico as full time staff. She has now been on staff with B2B for 14 years, and along the way she not only fell in love with B2B Ministries, but also with the man who is now her husband!
As a newlywed, Becca started to feel a shifting in her heart. She felt withdrawn and didn’t want to be around people. This is very outside of her natural character, so she settled into a season of praying to discern what God might be doing in her heart and life.
Through a series of open doors, Becca and her husband felt confirmed about moving to Mazatlan, Mexico. They thought they would be there for the rest of their lives, but after 7 years, God began shifting their hearts once again. They were offered a new position in Cancun, but as they prayed, it was crickets– there was no confirmation one way or the other. One day she got a random text from an old friend who had a dream about them– they were hanging onto a rope and that rope was the hope of The Lord. She realized that as long as they hang on to The Lord, they will be ok.
Hineni
Here I am, whatever you are about to ask of me, I am in agreement with it.
Saying “yes” without knowing the outcome or what you’re actually saying yes to.
Staying Rooted
The importance of mentorship, vulnerability and accountability
Ephesians 1-2 tells us so clearly who we are in Christ
Say these promises in the mirror everyday…
You are created with a purpose.
You are forgiven.
You are God’s masterpiece.
You are chosen.
You are adopted.
Speak the truth of God’s word over your life. As you say these things, check the emotions in your heart. What truths are you not fully believing? You are these things, and identifying the lies you are buying into about your identity can lead to tremendous freedom!
The Joy of The Lord
There is joy even in the hard. There is joy all around.
Just like the promptings of our passions, joy can also be easy to miss. We must constantly be on the lookout for joy in our lives.
The Lord’s character is joyful. He delights in giving us good gifts, sometimes we may miss them if we’re not on the lookout.
Final Thoughts
Know where your margin is. Motherhood drastically changed Becca’s life on the mission field, so settinging up a clear margin was so important for allowing Becca to be fully present and knowing what to yes to in her life.
