Wendy Jordan is the 2018 First Runner-Up of Mrs. America, Mrs. North Carolina 2017, a professional model, and a marketing strategist.

On the podcast this week, Wendy shares the powerful story of how she overcame fear and the adversity of a poverty-minded upbringing in order to step into her God-given destiny.

As a professional model, Wendy has worked for many top Fortune 500 companies over the years, such as Mercedes-Benz, Belk, Sears, Lee Jeans, Hanes, Wrangler, Champion Apparel, Nordstrom, Lowes, Marriott, Laz-y-Boy, Home Depot, etc. Most recently, Wendy was featured in several full-page ad campaigns in People Magazine, Southern Living, and the cover model of Lake Norman Currents.

Wendy is a digital marketing strategist and runs an agency that holds official Google Partner Certifications, and specializes in web design, search engine optimization, and online advertising. Together with her husband, she also co-owns Jordan Retirement Solutions, an insurance agency serving senior citizens, which has been featured in top media affiliates such as ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox.

As an active spokesperson for the Twilight Wish Foundation, it is her mission to give back to the greatest generation by honoring deserving seniors and the low-income elderly.

She is also involved in the community as a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, a certified mentor with the Charlotte chapter of the SCORE organization "Counselors to America's Small Business”, and leads a women’s group at her church.

Wendy resides in Lake Norman with her husband of 12 years, their 2 children, and dachshund, Dexter.
