S2 Episode #26- Naeem Fazal
THE ONE WITH NAEEM FAZAL . . .
Naeem Fazal is the founding pastor of Mosaic Church. He is a Pakistani, born and raised as a Muslim in Kuwait. He came to the United States in 1992 after the Gulf War. That same year, Naeem had a supernatural experience with Christ that changed the course of his life.
He graduated from the College of Charleston in 1998 and joined the pastoral staff of Seacoast Church where he led several ministries. In 2006, with the help of Seacoast Church and ARC, he planted Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. He is the author of Ex-Muslim and often speaks at conferences, churches and events. He and his wife Ashley have two teens.

R E A D
Jesus can handle our honesty. He can handle the reality of how we feel and how we doubt. He is willing to meet us where we are. There is no need for us to pretend.
Being honest is healing to your own soul. This is a distinction between followers of Jesus and all other religions-- even in the moments of doubt and disbelief, Jesus still seeks us out and invites us into relationship with him.
We cannot condemn people for still being in process. No one is perfect and we are all working on continually becoming the person that we are meant to be.
FINDING YOUR PURPOSE
It may come in stages. We often begin by being pulled to things that are self-seeking in the pursuit of our own destiny. This can be accomplished without God. Christ-Followers must shift our purpose to being about the Kingdom. It is a means to God’s end… not just our own destiny. Purpose is supposed to be what most benefits the Kingdom of God.
KINGDOM PURPOSE
What are you designed to do to bring God glory and further the expansion of His Kingdom on this earth? This will align with your skills and passions. The magic is found in the overlap.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Take time in this pandemic to really look at what is happening with your faith. Lean into the truth of what you are experiencing. Don’t try to hide your true feelings from God. Jesus gives us the permission to feel all the feelings. Jesus is not insecure; he can handle our doubts and fears.
“If the bottom fell out today, how far would you fall?”
When we feel like the bottom is falling out of our faith, it is His Presence that brings us back. Lord, show us your presence.
Jesus doesn’t need our faith for His resurrection. For God to raise the dead things in my life, he doesn’t need our faith, He just needs room.
L I S T E N
Thank you, as always, for listening! Please remember that everything we do is funded by those who benefit from our ministry, whether they be Patrons or event attendees. We are still waiting for our 501(c)3 to be officially registered, but we would certainly appreciate your contribution in these uncertain times.
Our events are centered on worship, restorative creativity, and designated time for reflection, evaluation, and setting intentions.
We help you provide a safe environment for your community to practice low-stakes creative risk-taking that will spur them in their gifting + step further into their calling. Leaders will rise up, ministries and businesses will be born, and all will find a new connection with their true identity.
Imagine what a whole community of Believers who
know who they are in Christ + understand their purpose as Kingdom cultivators can do!
