Episode #14- Scott Volk
The One with Scott Volk
Speaker, non-profit founder, Holy land tour guide, podcast host, husband, and father of five, Scott Volk is a Messianic Jew who came to faith in 1975. After graduating from North Central University in Minneapolis in 1988, Scott has served in various pastoral capacities in Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina . After more than 20 years in pastoral ministry, Scott founded Together For Israel, a non-profit ministry that exists to partner with the Church for the salvation of Israel (Rom 11:26).
Scott has the privilege of being invited to congregations, churches, and conferences, sharing the Word of God with the goal of equipping believers to be all that they’re destined to be so as to provoke Israel to jealousy. According to the Book of Romans, there is a necessary ‘fullness’ that must come to the Church before ‘all Israel is saved’. It’s his heart to teach on those themes as well as to bring greater understanding regarding God’s purpose for the Church in these last days.
Scott also founded and runs TFI Tours which exists to provide travelers with a life-changing experience as they travel through Israel. Since their inception, TFI has been privileged to make annual trips to Israel, bringing hundreds of people to the Land of the Bible. They visit many of the major Biblical sites and learn of the historical significance as well as the Biblical relevance of each location.
TFI Tours also takes travelers behind-the-scenes to visit many places that a typical tour will not go (such as bringing gifts to children at an Underprivileged Children’s Center, attending a Torah teaching by an orthodox Rabbi and experience how Jewish people study the Word, etc).
Scott and his wife Beth have been married for over 25 years and have a heart to see Jew and Gentile united as ‘one new man’ in the Messiah. They have five children and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
